CSL Night at The Home Depot Center

CSL night at The Home Depot Center was pretty fun… I went and picked up all of the goods for the upcoming season for my club… I stuck around and watched the Girls U-16 premier game and after that the UCLA vs. Maryland game… Club season starts in 1 week, it’s going to get hectic….

Busy Weekend…

On Saturday we played in the Futbolito Tournament in Pasadena. We took 2nd last year, this year, DON”T ASK!!! In our 3rd game a player from the field next to us came onto our field to chase a ball. Our opponents kicked a ball that bounced off that player and into the goal and the ref counted it… he said he didn’t see it…

Sunday woke up early and worked on getting the fields ready for the upcoming season. I listened to the Man U game on the radio while we were working but i wasn’t able to catch them live on tv so when i got home i got caught up on a few of them. Manchester United v Newcastle and Chelsea v Portsmouth. I’m glad the season is back underway… about 6:00 i headed over to the university to play a pick up game. The weather was perfect, just enough people for the space we had, it was super fun…

I just switched over the footskillz website from the old version to this one.. out with the old, in with the new, right??? This one should be a little easier to maintain and update…

Sand Soccer Tournament

I spent Saturday and Sunday at the HB sand soccer tournament with my team. In between our games, I caught this match between 2 teams from Germany. One team was the A squad, and the other was the B squad. I guess they came over here for a few weeks to play some tournaments. The A team spanked the B team… I think their tour guide forgot to tell them about sunblock…. They were pretty bummed about the outcome of the Germany-Spain game….

Sunday Park Soccer

Fun day of some Sunday park soccer in the evening, i got there a little late. As soon as i got in the game i got kicked in the face with ball about 20 seconds after i got my shoes on…. It’s been a while since that happened, still not very much fun… a bloody nose is a good way to start a game…
